BARA PRESIDENT'S REPORT

I think after last month's great "potluck" we need to do it again and again.But then we'd all get quite spoiled.Been a bit under the weather here for several days, so that is why the Newsletter is a few days late getting out.I believe no matter how hard we bellyache about the warm weather and how tired we are of it.I say, wait til winter.I understand from weather forecasters, including the Almanac, we're due for a cold, wet winter.And now is definitely the time to check the guy lines, feedline, antenna's and grounding systems before the weather hits.Now is the time to Winterize.After all, if we're going to be of any help during an Emergency, it doesn't hurt to go thru our checklists.Kathy KI6UIN sounds good on the Sunday Nite Net....but c'mon, turn the tv off and check in with her...she's doing a great job.Hope to see everyone at the meeting Thursday the 10th.Til then 73's..........George KC6KGH, B.A.R.A. President, KC6KGH George Presiding.Meeting called to order at 7:08 PM with 9 members in attendance.George KC6KGH led the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.Jerry N6BAR gave the Treasurer's report, and made out a check for the website for $4.95.The Treasurer's Report was accepted as read.Kathy KI6UIN read the Minutes of the Last Meeting.There were no corrections or additions and it was accepted as read.

In order to take advantage of the Potluck, Jerry N6BAR made the motion to adjourn the Meeting and John KE6BEZ second it.Meeting adjourned at 7:15 PM.
